Korean Air operates inaugural flight to Lisbon

On September 11th, Korean Air operated its inaugural flight to Lisbon, Portugal. Flight KE921 departed from Incheon at 11:50 am, making a significant milestone in the airline’s expansion in Europe.

The new route is flown 3 times a week with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner featuring 278 seats, including 24 in Prestige Class and 254 in Economy Class. Flight KE921 departs from Incheon every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 1:10 pm, and arrives in Lisbon at 8:10 pm local time. The return flight, KE922, departs from Lisbon at 10:10 pm on the same day and arrives in Incheon the following day at 7:10 pm. The flight durations are 15 hours and 10 minutes for flight KE921 and 13 hours for KE922.

Previously, travelers heading to Portugal with Korean Air had to transfer in neighbouring countries such as France or Spain. However, the new direct flight to Lisbon offers significantly greater convenience for travelers, making it easier to explore Lisbon and nearby regions. With this new service, Korean Air aims to strengthen its presence in the European market.
